A Well-Mannered Mom
A mother and a daughter were washing dishes in the kitchen while the father and the son were watching TV in the living room. They were enjoying themselves. Suddenly, there was a sound of breaking dishes, then silence. No one said anything.
Then the son looked at his father and smiled. Father didn't understand what his son meant. He looked at the son for a second, then the son said, “It was Mom."
“How do you know that?” Father was very surprised.
“She didn't say anything.”
