比莉艾利什的青少年光阴，大多是在加州的这座 Glendale Galleria 购物中央里丁宁的。
北京韶光2020年11月13日凌晨，五度或格莱美奖肯定，年仅18岁的 比莉艾利什 放出新歌 Therefore I Am 的官方MV。在MV里，比莉一个人独占这座 Mall，为所欲为一番。由比莉本人执导，MV中比莉在空无一人的购物中央里放飞自我，从电梯到自动扶梯，从甜甜圈到碳酸饮料，就像歌词唱的那么为所欲为，无所顾忌。

歌词乍读，彷佛女生面对糟糕的恋情、或者某种单恋狂的抱怨。但这天下上所有故意思的歌词都每每有第二层含义。如果结合MV内容，大概就可以理解到歌词中的第二层意图。顺便说一下，很可能这首MV的创意也来自比莉。
在MV里，比莉放飞自我，在一座空无一人的购物中央里要啥拿啥：只见她先是跑进炸鸡店拿了个甜甜圈，到边上拿了整包薯条还不过瘾，又爬过柜台，灌上了大杯碳酸饮料……全程不带客气的。

在MV里肆无忌惮的花费高热量食品，当然不是在鼓吹垃圾食品的好味，而更多是在确立一种我行我素的态度。不免让人遐想到这首歌的第二层含义，很可能是在回应那些比拟莉的身材说三道四的人：我的身体，关你P事。
