主干：主系表，主谓，主谓宾，主谓宾宾，主谓宾补
一个句子的主干一样平常比较大略，造成句子繁芜的是润色成份和并列构造。英语中紧张的润色身分有五种，称为"三长两短"。它们是使句子变繁芜的紧张成分，再加上同样会使句子变繁芜的"平行并列构造"，统称为"三长两短一并列"。
润色：三长两短（三长: 从句，非谓语动词短语，介词短语）+（两短:形容词，副词）；短前长后（短的润色身分，则放到前面；长的润色身分，则放在后面）
一并列：平行并列构造
由"并列词" and/ or/ but/ as well as/ not only..., but also.../ both... and.../ either...or.../ neither... nor...等, 将两个或两个以上"含义相似，构造相同"的"并列项"连接起来构成的构造。简记为"A and B"或"A, B and C"。主干和润色部分都可能涌现并列构造。

If your friend’s insecurity is made worse by such images, remind her that there’s the magic of Photoshop behind them, and if necessary, suggest unfollowing whatever accounts fueling such insecurity and seeking out positive accounts instead.
【主干】：remind her ... and ... suggest ...。
主干是主谓构造：主语是“省略了”，谓语是“remind ... and ... suggest ...。”。
主干直译：提醒她…建议取关…。
【润色与并列】
一． 长句先用括号断句法，找出三长:从句，非谓语动词短语（紫色标记），介词短语（用绿色字体标记），还有并列身分（赤色标记）。
（If your friend’s insecurity is made worse by such images,） remind her （that there’s the magic of Photoshop behind them）, and （if necessary,） suggest unfollowing（ whatever accounts fueling such insecurity and seeking out positive accounts instead.）
二． 然后针对括号内内容，采取不断今后提问题的方法，自问自答，从而深入理解并翻译括号内容：
（1）If your friend’s insecurity is made worse by such images为条件状语从句；如果你的朋友被这种图片搞得没有安全感。
(2)that there’s the magic of Photoshop behind them作remind的宾语从句；这些照片背后有修图邪术。
