我们听《something just like this》这首歌时都会看到这个封面，小男孩打扮成超级英雄，拥有着斩妖除魔掩护世间正义的梦想，仿佛是我们每个人小时候的缩影。正如歌中所写的我们每个人都是浩瀚宇宙中的一颗星辰，珍惜面前的事和物，力所能及的去做想做的事，就能成为自己的超级英雄。
这个故事发生在2013年美国的旧金山，一个名叫迈尔斯的小男孩在一岁半的时候就不幸得了白血病。当人们讯问他有什么欲望时，小迈克尔斯回答说想亲自扮演一回蝙蝠侠，当时美国的一个公益组织make a wish（实现欲望） 决定帮助小男孩实现这个欲望，为他筹拍一部电影《小蝙蝠侠出击》，当地的居民都参与到了这个超级英雄的操持之中。
在拍摄的时候全体旧金山化身哥谭市，小蝙蝠侠迈克尔斯在另一个蝙蝠侠的带领下击败了坏人，拯救了一些小女孩。完成了任务，实现了自己的英雄梦想。全体电影温馨动人，就连当时美国的总统奥巴马还视频表扬了小男孩的行为，夸奖他拯救了天下。
小男孩的精神难能名贵，故事动听又温馨，酷玩乐队听到这个故事后，于是决定为这个年夜胆充满正义感的小男孩创作这首《something just like this》
